“If you can imagine what you desire, then you can become what you imagine”, is her credo. Always knowing that she wanted to help others, Angela-Lynn Ware earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Philadelphia University in 1998. She went on to service the inner city families of Philadelphia as a social worker, educator, counselor and advisor. As time progressed, she yielded to her sincere desire. She graduated from the Cosmetology Program at Empire Beauty School in 2002 and the Teacher’s Program in 2006. As a result she became an entrepreneur and began to build “the brand”. She opened Direct Reflection which she continues to nurture while building strong foundations for rising industry professionals through sound instructional practices. She went on to become an examiner for the Pennsylvania State Board of Cosmetology. Angela is currently a full time freelance, NYC and Philadelphia based hairstylist and makeup artist. To date, her work has been seen on MTV, YouTube, BET, Bravo, print, ad campaigns, commercials, magazines, runways, news anchors, radio personalities, celebrities and a host of other familiar places. In addition to juggling all of these things, Angela currently operates a mentoring program for budding talent in the industry. Angela’s knowledge of the beauty industry coupled with her artistic abilities and genuine personality, make her a sought after artist.
